Dear Mike,
Thank you so very much for putting so much time and effort into this field trip. I appreciate it so much, and I plan to use the skills of trust, teamwork, encouragement, and thoughtfulness in my daily life. These skills are so important, and I don’t think I would have ever learned them or acknowledged them without your help, and think these skills are important for every one to learn. I might not have gone very far in some of the events but I still learned a lot and had a BLAST at the same time. I also learned to trust and appreciate my classmates a lot more.

I think this field trip brought out, and showed the true side of everyone. While we were getting ready for the High V, I could not find anyone to partner up with so I could not go on the High V, but Zach, my classmate overheard that I did not have a partner and he volunteered to go with me (I don’t think he wanted to go on the High V), but he did. Now I have learned to care and be thoughtful toward people more, like Zach was to me. Like you were talking about before we started, we have to act like kindergartners and care for each other.
