Helpful Tips

  • Each DIY Life Cycles™ Kit is recommended to be built in groups of 2-4.
  • Prior to building the bikes, someone from your team will need to reach out to a youth agency in your area (Boys and Girls Club, YMCA, etc) to find a deserving child to donate the bike to. This activity works best when the ‘customer’ (aka child) receives the bike in person. Please note: Before giving the bike to a child, please have a qualified bike mechanic approve the safety of the bicycle.
